We were lucky enough to visit this place in July 2023. The folks in the office were super nice and gave us lots of interesting ideas of where to visit nearby. They put on a fantastic fireworks display with a live band, stuff for the kids to play on, and free food. Our granddaughter made a couple of friends and we will definitely be back there if we are in the area. I am posting pics of the here plus the places we visited during our stay.
Very nice park. Owners and staff are very nice. They take very good care of the new concrete pads. Very pleasant. Nice pond has some ducks peaceful and quiet. All pads have a fire pit picnic table and umbrella. I'd have given it 5 stars, only because we take our dogs and a dog park would have been wonderful. All and all a very nice place and reasonable prices!

Lake Aire is one of those places you want to make a note to make sure you remember to come back. It's convenient to shopping needs and not too far from Charleston. Within the campground, there is good laundry ($3.25 to wash $25 per 15 min of dry). There is a small lake to fish in. All RV camping is in pull through sites. We had full hook-ups. There are many premium sites with concrete pads and beautiful lawns that include a table with an umbrella. Also, you can have amazon delivered there, and they have a propane station.
This place is a thumbs up.
Oh, there is a train, it's not right in the campground but kinda close. It didn't bother me, but some people did bring it up as a negative. Thanks, Lake Aire, for a nice stay.
Staff was super nice realized we were to big for the site and moved us to another. The second site was better. Price reasonable I was expecting pass port America but they don’t do it anymore but there are other discounts they do do. Charleston is not they far but traffic is ridiculous. Driving a big truck streets by battery is super narrow and hard to find a place to park. We only were4 days a. Because of traffic we didn’t get to see as much as we wanted to.
Great camp ground to stay at in Charleston. Easy drive into the city for dinners and things to do during the day. We did we a really bad storm while we were staying at the camp ground. There was really bad flooding in Charleston but the campsites were not flooded at all. A few small puddles of standing water but not many. Easy in and out and everyone was super nice!
Worse campground we've been to. As 2 adult full-timers, we're difficult to displease, but this place seems to go out of its way to suck. Staff is rude, grounds are messy, bathrooms are gross, and the entire atmosphere is one of discomfort & …
Nice RV park. Staff, grounds, location, experience...all exceptional! My only 2 little comments would be...there are train tracks nearby that roll through early AM so if you're an early riser...you'll be fine. Can't change the location of the park...so just be prepared.
With pets welcome they accommodate waste bags but no designated receptacle for the waste and there is no "off leash" designated area to let your pets roam free for a minute.
All in all loved the park. Would book again!

Nice camp ground, it was pretty quiet when we were there so we had plenty of space. It was nice being surrounded by nature, we saw turtle, fish and of course the local ducks. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The bathrooms are a little run down and the door was wedged open so at night the bathrooms were full of bugs.
